Community gardening can be quite rewarding. It allows for the feeling of joy working as a team or in a group to share the work and labor but also share the bounties of the labor. It also gives a chance to learn from others who may have more knowledge or experience in gardening and also allows as a grounds for teaching children how they can start their own garden. In a community garden one may experience higher yields of produce that the community can then share or sell at a local farmers market. Other benefits of the community garden include good use of fallow or abandoned spaces and an aesthetically pleasing look to the community or neighborhood.
