Dennis and Chris Miller

Dennis and Chris Miller, residents of Newport Beach, Ca., are parents of two daughters currently attending the University of Arizona. Recently the Millers established an endowment in the Division of Retailing and Consumer Science and are also naming a room in the facility of the future home of the John and Doris Norton School. Though neither of the Millers are University of Arizona alumni, they believe it is important to establish a legacy of giving that will serve as an example for their daughters in their alumni years.

Dennis Miller is a graduate of Cal-State Fullerton (BA 1968), and a 27 year Captain with American Airlines. He has also served his fellow pilots for 14 years as a negotiator for the Allied Pilots Association. In 1992, Miller completed a course of study in Strategies for Complex Negotiations in International Markets, at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Chris Miller is a former special education instructor and American Airlines flight attendant. She has worked in the fitness industry for the past 20 years and is currently a fitness trainer and Spinning instructor. Chris is a strong supporter of AIDS research and services and has ridden her bicycle in 3 California Aids Rides. Also part Native American, Miller is a member of the Morongo Band of Mission Indians.
