Louise and Stephen Renneckar

Louise and Stephen Renneckar have named a bench in the Lakin Family Plaza in honor of the Peak and Renneckar Families. Louise wanted to honor her family as well as Stephen's family for their dedication to improving farming practices and land quality, and for bettering the lives of families. Louise received her B.S. degree in Child Development and Family Relations from the UA in 1974. She taught Child Care in Pima County 4H for 20 years, served as a member of the Pima County Leaders Board, and was involved with numerous community and school volunteer organizations, including the Amphi School District, PTO, and the Town of Oro Valley. For six years, Louise was an active member of the FCS Council and was known for an unflagging ability to bring excellent ideas and great enthusiasm to the committees on which she served. She is also well known for her dedication to making the Norton School the best of its kind in the nation. Louise and Stephen have two beautiful grown daughters, and are currently enjoying spending time with their grandchildren in Phoenix.
