Dr. Patricia (Peggy) Wild, an alumna who has attained the highest level of success in her professional endeavors, has made a substantial gift in honor of her professors, including Shirley Jo Taylor, Nancy Graham, Amy Jean Knorr, and Doris Manning. Dr. Wild received B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees at the University of Arizona and is currently a CFCS state specialist at the Indiana Department of Education. Prior to this post, she held a variety of teaching positions at both the secondary-school and university levels. Many organizations have honored Dr. Wild for her outstanding achievements and contributions. She was a recipient of the UA FCS Council's Professional Achievement Award and was recently recognized by Purdue University with an Honorary Doctor of Letters degree. She was also named Treasurer of the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences.
