Arizona Alfalfa Association:

Mike Ottman, Extension Agronomist and leader of Arizona Cooperative Extension Forage Programs, is seeking input on the feasibility of an Alfalfa and Forage Association in Arizona. The number of agriculture Extension agents in the major alfalfa counties (Maricopa, La Paz, Yuma, Pinal, Cochise and Mohave) has dropped from 17 in 1985 to 9 in 2002. One of the purposes for this Association is to insure that the needs of the industry are adequately met. Please take a minute to complete the enclosed questionnaire. (For those viewing this on the web, contact Mike Ottman directly 928-621-1583 or email mottman@ag.arizona.edu with your input).
