CALL FOR PAPERS

In ALN No. 55, May/June 2004, we will continue to consider the theme of Fire ecology. In this current issue, the focus is on knowledge about historical and current human use and management of fire, fire regimes, and fire effects; the focus in ALN No. 55 will be on future trends and developments in fire research and fire management. Topics to be considered for ALN No. 55 include, but are certainly not limited to, the following:

Proposals for papers, comments, suggestions for possible authors, suggestions for resources (web, paper, CD-ROM etc.) to be included, etc. in either of these issues, are welcome. Please send your suggestions to Katherine Waser, Editor, Arid Lands Newsletter.
