- About ARIZ
Welcome to ARIZ, the University of Arizona Herbarium
With over 400,000 specimens, ARIZ is the world's largest collection of plants from Arizona and Sonora, Mexico.
These collections support a rich diversity of research projects by herbarium staff and university researchers. We also serve the general public, private organizations, and government agencies of all levels as a provider of information on the plants of Arizona and the Sonoran Desert region.
Proposals solicited under the Section 6 program. Deadline: 28 May 2013
Please see program page for more information on this program that funds small grants for research on rare, threatened, and endangered plants of Arizona.
Please consider donating to the UA Herbarium. Any amount helps!
