RAMP Project Partners Meeting

Purpose. This meeting brought together the majority of RAMP PIs and several collaborators and colleagues to review our progress on over 30 RAMP projects, identify challenges and pending objectives, and to strategize on successful completion of RAMP objectives.

Meeting Format

Day 1 included an overview of the RAMP project goals and rationale by Peter Ellsworth and a presentation on project assessment by Al Fournier. The rest of Day 1 was dedicated to oral project updates presented around 4 major themes:
(1) Plant/Pest/Pesticide Interactions
(2) Individual Behavior & Local Movement
(3) Regional Ecology, Movement & Modeling
(4) Game Training Simulation

Day 2 consisted of dedicated discussions around each of these 4 themes. The discussions focused on four goals:
(1) To develop a clear understanding of our current progress in Meeting RAMP objectives
(2) To discuss results and how they may related to other RAMP components
(3) To identify unmet objectives and set goals for accomplishing them
(4) To identify expected outputs and applications of the research
